Free License

무료 라이선스

Most music on FreeMusicLab.ai is free to download and use in your content, as long as you provide proper credit. Some tracks are designated as Premium (Content ID protected) and are available for preview only. This is a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for personal and commercial use, granted to you under the terms of the generating AI model (see “Generation Source” below).

FreeMusicLab.ai의 대부분 음악은 크레딧 표기 시 무료 다운로드 및 사용이 가능합니다. 일부 트랙은 Premium(Content ID 등록)으로 지정되어 미리듣기만 가능합니다. 이것은 개인 및 상업적 사용을 위한 비독점적, 전세계적, 로열티 프리 라이선스이며, 원본 생성 AI 모델의 약관(아래 “생성 출처” 참조)에 따라 부여됩니다.

Two Tiers: Free & Premium

Free Tier (Default)

  • Not registered in Content ID
  • Safe for creators — your videos will not receive automated claims from these tracks
  • Free to download, stream, and use in monetized creator content
  • Credit required: Music by JINRO MUSIC (FreeMusicLab.ai)
  • Covers the majority of our catalog
💎 Premium

Premium Tier (Content ID Protected)

  • Distributed to music streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Melon, etc.)
  • Registered in YouTube Content ID via a music distribution partner
  • Still free to listen and preview from FreeMusicLab.ai (download disabled)
  • YouTube videos using these tracks will receive a Content ID match — ad revenue routes to the rights holder
  • For creators who need claim-free tracks, use the Free tier

Each track in our library carries a visible tier badge. Use Browse → Free only to filter the catalog to claim-free tracks if your use case requires it.

Generation Source

생성 출처 및 법적 근거

First-party tracks on FreeMusicLab.ai are generated using AI music generation models including Google Lyria (via Vertex AI / Gemini API) and Udio.

This matters because:

  • Licensed training data: Lyria was trained on licensed music catalog — it is not subject to the pending litigation affecting some other AI music models.
  • Commercial use explicitly permitted under Google's Generative AI Terms of Service and Udio's terms of service.
  • Generative AI Indemnification: Google Cloud provides third-party IP claim protection for eligible Vertex AI outputs.
  • SynthID watermark: Lyria tracks carry an inaudible AI watermark for transparency and AI-content disclosure compliance.
  • Content ID status varies by tier: Free tier tracks are not registered in YouTube Content ID. Premium tier tracks are distributed via a music partner and registered in Content ID — videos using these tracks will receive a Content ID match.

AI content disclosure:YouTube, TikTok, and Meta now require creators to label videos containing altered or synthetic audio. When using our tracks in monetized content, please enable your platform's AI-generated content disclosure option as appropriate.

Community Uploads

유저 업로드 트랙 — 별도 약관

FreeMusicLab.ai accepts user-uploaded AI music. To maintain the integrity of our licensing model, community uploads are subject to additional rules:

  • Uploaders must attest that tracks were generated using Google Lyria, Gemini API music generation, Udio, or an equivalent model with commercial-use-permitted output terms.
  • Tracks generated with models whose commercial-use status is ambiguous or contested are not accepted.
  • Uploaders grant FreeMusicLab.ai a non-exclusive worldwide license to host and redistribute the track, and warrant they hold the necessary rights to do so.
  • FreeMusicLab.ai may remove any uploaded track at any time, including for legal or licensing-compliance reasons.

Do not upload our music to other free music sites or claim it as your own production.

Claim Ownership

You may not claim copyright ownership of the music itself.

Register with Content ID

Do not register any track with YouTube Content ID, Spotify for Artists, or similar services.

Remove or Hide Credit

Credit must be visible and accessible in your content description.

No-Credit License

크레딧 표기 면제 라이선스

Both Free and Premium tier tracks require credit attribution by default. If you need to use a track without any credit (e.g., for broadcast, commercial film, or corporate use), no-credit licenses are available on a per-track basis. Please contact us for details.
